ZAF is a multiracial coalition of Jewish activists and allies who are unabashedly progressive and unapologetically Zionist. As a grassroots organization, and in partnership with our nonprofit sister organization, Zioness Movement, we work to advance social, racial, economic, gender and environmental justice in America.

We are committed to fighting for Zionism and the inclusion of Zionists in social justice spaces because Zionism is itself a progressive value: the movement for liberation and national self-determination of the Jewish people in our Indigenous homeland.

ZAF’s secondary purpose is to engage in partisan political activities through engaging progressive and liberal Jewish voters, and their allies, and educating them that the Democratic Party is their only safe ideological and political home. ZAF also works to engage and remind the Democratic Party that it has an urgent obligation to continue its historic and cherished commitment to the Jewish community and to Jewish self-determination in our ancestral homeland, the land of Israel. 

ZAF works with Democratic Party leaders to ensure that the Party continues to be a safe ideological and political home for American Jews, including through its commitment to addressing Jewish safety, fighting antisemitism and anti-Zionism at home, and the protection of a safe and sovereign Jewish state in the land of Israel.
